LAPIDARY: The art of cutting slabs of stones/rocks, shape them and polish them to set in silver, copper or other metals to make cabochons for jewelry. Monday & Wednesday 9am-12pm.

SILVERSMITH: Setting the cabochons or other items in silver or other metals by cutting, shaping and soldenng. Making jewelry without cabochons also.

Monday & Wednesday - 9am-12pm (morning class)
Monday & Wednesday   (afternoon class)

FACETING: Shaping and polishing crystals and precious stones into gems. Learning the different settings and angles on the faceting machine to make gemstones. Tuesday & Thursday gam-12pm

LOST WAX CASTING: Making/sculpting a wax form of a piece of jewelry, put it in plaster i n a cylinder, heat it to melt the wax leaving a plaster mold where the melted silver will take the shape of the wax form. Then polish the piece. Tuesday & Thursday 9am-12pm 

CREATIVE ARTS: Alternative methods of jewelry making are offered at different times such as wire wrapping, glass fusing, beading, chain making and precious metal clay.    Tuesday & Thursday 12:30pm to 3pm

Class sessions are 6 weeks long. The school is closed 1 week after each session then opens again for another 6 weeks, etc.  Tuition for each session is approximately $50.00 per class
